Jandina Park is a 36-unit multi-family apartment complex located on Sesame Street in west McMinnville. It was constructed in 1982 and features 12 1-bedroom units, 20 2-bedrooms and 4 3-bedrooms. The project is in receivership and USDA Rural Development has asked the Housing Authority of Yamhill County to purchase the property so that this affordable housing can be preserved in the community. Rents in the complex are based on tenant income so that qualified residents do not pay more than 30 percent of their income for rent and utilities.

The purchase of this project is expected to take place some time in 2006. Jandina Park is in need of extensive rehabilitation work that will start after the purchase is finalized. The rehabilitation is expected last several months and the new look for the project will be accompanied by a new name of Tamarack Winds.
