This is the top of the page that shows on all of the pages on this website other than on PDF files. This header has five small pictures and a logo for the Housing Authority. Below this header on the left side of all the pages (except pdf pages) are menus that will take you to various pages - some of these menus drop down to the right with a mouse positioned over the menu item if there are subcategories. Each one is a link to either a page or a pdf file. Below the menus is a search box where you can search text on this site including inside pdf files.

"Pathways to Homeownership"

The Housing Resource Center puts on an annual Homebuying Fair "Pathways to Homeownership" geared toward the first time homebuyer. The fair offers a chance to meet with a multitude of local real estate agents, lenders, title companies, state agencies and local non-profits. It is our intention to have all vendor information available in Spanish as well as English in order to reach as many area residents as possible. Attendees of the Fair have a chance to meet and compare different lenders and real estate agents, attend mini classes from our ABC's of Homebuying curriculum, and enter drawings.

This event is a great opportunity for people to learn more about local resources for purchasing a home in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We also provide activities for children such as coloring or playground activities so that parents are able to spend more time gathering information. In addition, food is available for purchase.
